Seven speakers and a moderator who work every day on implementing BIM in railway projects.

Sergio Muñoz Gómez

Chief Operating Officer, buildingSMART Spain

Sergio is the Chief Operating Officer of buildingSMART Spain and also chairs the Spanish BIM standardisation committee UNE-CTN332.

He is responsible for the Spanish translation of the ISO 19650 series of standards and is co-author of several BIM guides, such as the Guide for asset owners and managers and the introductory guide to ISO 19650.

Rosa Ureña Bolaños

BIM Director, TPF Ingeniería

Civil Engineer (Ingeniero de Caminos, Canales y Puertos) with more than 20 years' experience in infrastructure project management and the alignment design of linear infrastructure works. Since 2017 she has been responsible for implementing the BIM methodology at TPF Ingeniería, leading digitalisation and process transformation initiatives.

She is also Vice-Chair of the Design Committee of buildingSMART Spain, where she actively contributes to promoting digitalisation and the adoption of open standards in the infrastructure sector.

Aurora Fernández Ferragut

BIM Manager, Euskal Trenbide Sarea (ETS)

Civil Engineer from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (1997) and holder of an International Master's degree as BIM Manager in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure and GIS from ZIGURAT (2019).

Throughout her career she has worked at several engineering firms, such as Euroconsult and IDOM, taking part in projects and construction works of many kinds. Since 2005 she has been part of Euskal Trenbide Sarea (ETS), where she has held railway project management roles.

In 2018 she began working on the implementation of the BIM methodology at ETS, initially combining this activity with project management. Since 2025 she has worked exclusively as BIM Manager, leading the implementation and consolidation of the BIM methodology within the organisation.

Pilar Jiménez Abós

Academic Director, OpenBIM Hub

Specialist in process-based BIM implementation according to PMI with openBIM standards. Technical lead for the development of the RCEclass classification system for roads and SCFclass for railways. Expert in quality control of models in IFC format. BIM Manager at INECO.

José Carlos Cortecero Cañadas

Senior ISTRAM Engineer, Buhodra Ingeniería

R&D&I Business Development Engineer, ISTRAM BIM.

Senior ISTRAM Engineer at Buhodra Ingeniería, with more than 15 years' experience in ISTRAM technical support. He holds a Master's in GIS, a Master's in BIM for Civil Engineering and a Master's in Renewable Energy.

Eloy Becerra

Sales Engineer, ALLPLAN

Civil Engineer, graduate of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería of Seville.

His role focuses on consultancy and pre-sales in the field of engineering and infrastructure, implementing BIM solutions and developing projects through the creation of digital models, the optimisation of workflows and technical assistance to improve efficiency and accuracy in design and construction.

Alberto Pastor Vicario

Product Director, ISTRAM

Product Director at ISTRAM, responsible for BIM implementation in the development of the authoring application, with more than 20 years' experience in the linear infrastructure sector. He is also Vice-Chair of the Technology Committee of buildingSMART Spain, where he represents the members from the technology sector and software vendors for the BIM methodology.

Nickollas José Nunes

BIM Manager, Structures and Assembly Grupo Puentes

Civil Engineer from Texas A&M University, with a Master’s in International Construction Management from the Universidad Europea and a BIM Manager Master’s in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure and GIS. He is currently BIM Manager at Structures and Assembly, a Grupo Puentes company. In this role he leads the implementation and consolidation of BIM procedures, ensuring compliance with the ISO 19650 standards and the optimisation of resources.

He is actively involved in infrastructure projects, including the modelling of bridges and temporary works, providing technical solutions that improve coordination and the quality of information. He is currently driving a strategic change in the BIM tools of Structures and Assembly with the aim of increasing efficiency, traceability and interoperability across all projects.
